German language courses for businesses:
This way, employees integrate quickly, get off to an efficient start, and feel at home from day one

Many companies struggle with language barriers every day—does this sound familiar to you?

  • New colleagues feel insecure and left out.
  • Repeated explanations and follow-up questions take up hours each week.
  • Meetings are delayed because employees don't understand technical terms.
  • Documents need to be reviewed or translated multiple times.
  • Onboarding takes longer, and skilled workers are leaving.
  • Communication with customers or partners comes across as unprofessional.

How a lack of language skills is costing your business

  • Repeated explanations, follow-up questions, and additional meetings can easily add up to 2 to 3 hours a week.
  • Uncertainties lead to delays or errors that need to be corrected: 0.5 to 1 hour per week.
  • Translators or additional document reviews or onboarding processes take 1 to 2 hours per new employee or document.
  • A lack of integration into the team lowers motivation and retention; in the worst-case scenario, good employees leave the company too soon—and training new employees often takes weeks or even months.

Bottom lineEven just a few hours a week adds up to several workdays a year — valuable time you could be spending on productive work.

This is what it looks like when language barriers are overcome:

  • New colleagues hit the ground running and understand the processes and technical terminology right from the start.
  • Emails and messages are clearly understood, and meetings are efficient and focused.
  • Projects are implemented more quickly because coordination runs smoothly and everyone works together.
  • The team works together harmoniously, everyone is on the same page and feels included.
  • Onboarding is completed quickly, skilled employees remain motivated and contribute to the company’s success from the very start.

    PS: Did you know?

According to a study by Grammarly and Statista, language barriers cost German companies an average of up to 11.5 workdays per employee per year.

How much does that actually cost?

Suppose an employee costs the company €50 per hour.
11.5 workdays = approximately 92 hours per year.

Loss of productivity per employee: 92 hours × €50 = €4,600 per year.

Nearly a third of employees lose up to five hours a week, and that adds up quickly.

Both options are available. We can flexibly adjust the group size and course schedule to meet your needs.

We design the courses so that they do not disrupt your employees’ workflow. Typically, there are 1 to 2 sessions per week, each lasting 60 to 90 minutes; upon request, we can also offer block scheduling or more intensive sessions.

The amount of time required always depends on your language proficiency: Beginners generally need a little more time, while advanced learners make progress more quickly.

What remains the same: You'll start to feel the benefits after just a few weeks.

After about 4 weeks, there will be fewer follow-up questions and less need for repeated explanations.

After 8 weeks, communication in meetings and emails has become much smoother.

After 24 weeks, companies save an average of several hours per week, as language barriers no longer cause significant delays and new employees are integrated more quickly.

Customers also report lower costs and less time spent on the entire onboarding process for new employees.

From the very basics of German (A1) to professional business communication at a native-speaker level (C2): We create a personalized learning plan for each employee that is tailored precisely to their current level of proficiency and professional requirements.

Both options are available: online lessons, in-person training at your company, or hybrid models—we tailor our approach to your needs. We schedule the training so that it doesn’t disrupt your daily operations. Dates can be adjusted by arrangement.

Our courses combine practical German language skills for everyday work with industry-specific vocabulary.

For beginners: We establish a solid foundation so that employees can communicate effectively, and then gradually expand on that with company- and industry-specific content.

For advanced learners (e.g., B2): Focus on technical jargon, workplace vocabulary, and typical professional scenarios so that employees can communicate effectively and confidently right away.

Integration & Daily Life: Upon request, we also provide training in personal and social communication—for example, in interactions with colleagues, friends, or in everyday situations—to help employees develop their skills in all areas.

This way, your employees benefit directly in their day-to-day work and feel more secure and confident in their personal lives as well.
